  Girls Gotta Run

 

Recently we were contacted by the Girls Gotta Run foundation in the USA. The aim of this foundation is to prevent early marriage and give girls a better opportunity in life. So we set up several races involving 25000 girls from the schools nearby and the best girls from the Simien area have been chosen. They have all been supplied with running kit thanks to the foundation.

Most of these girls now wear shoes for the first time, let alone Nike running shoes!
